It has been a busy couple of months since my last blog entry with numerous art activities happening. Back on December 1 (2018), I organized and participated in a Christmas Pop Up show at the Pop Porium of Starkville with numerous vendors. The following week on December 8, we were part of the Mississippi Made show at 929 Coffee in Starkville. Then we took a break from showing art for a bit to work on projects.
On January 31, we held a pop up show at
Chalet Arts. Our friends at the Chalet recently opened up a section of their shop for several of us artists to hang art, and the pop up show featured a few of us. Thanks to owner Mark Wood for the opportunity!

Two days later, we had a pre Valentine's Day pop us show at the Pop Porium with an entirely different group of artists (except for Joseph and I). Then on Friday, February 15, we participated in the Bloody Valentine show in Meridian! Concurrently, the Meridian Bi-State Show went up and is on display through March 23 at the Meridian Museum of Art.
Next up in Starkville is a pop up show at the Pop Porium from 11 to 5 on March 2! Come see me and other local art vendors!
I had three pieces (Arthrobryozoic Naiad, Resignation, and Cassian) accepted into the Moscow Visionary Art Exhibition, which will be on display a the Moscow's Artist House from March 26 to March 31.

As spring rolls along, look for MacGown Art at the Cotton District Festival in Starkville on Saturday, April 13. We will have two tents full of trippy art!
And, this year, we will also be putting up a tent at the Double Decker Festival in Oxford, MS on April 27!
